  1. i live in an rv and would like to have a boat and motor. must be light weight and easy to store. yet durable and able to get around large lakes and rivers. what do you suggest?

  2. I would recommend going with one of the Zodiac Cadet Fast Roller model boats. These boats offer high carrying capacity and seaworthiness while being light weight and having the ability to store in a nice compact transport bag. I would match it with either a 2-stroke engine in the 8-10hp range, or a 4-stroke between 4-10hp range depending on the currents you may encounter. A 4hp engine will do great on any of the Cadet models unless the current is over 4-5mph. An 8hp engine, although heavier than a 4hp, will do everything you need and will offer a twin cylinder configuration for more smoothness and torque. Any engine in the 9.8-15hp range will give you incredible speed and performance and will plane a 10-11ft boat with ease – even with a moderate load. Regardless of the boat/motor package you decide on, I would also recommend the transom launching wheels and a 12v 2-stage electric pump with the high pressure ability. This type of package will offer you everything you need and will be easy to setup, use, and store away.

I have a Zodiac MK111 Grand raid 2004 model, with a four stroke Honda 40 h.p motor. I would like to install a manual type jack plate. Do you have the model I need for my boat?

  4. Unfortunately we don’t have manual jack plates. You can try this link though……….http://www.nauticexpo.com/boat-manufacturer/boat-jack-plate-20560.html

  5. Can you supply black tubes for an Aquapro divemaster 1301?

Hello, I have a new Avon RIB 315 and want to attach a relatively soft rubber mount to the bow. The mount is approximately 2″ in dia. and has a 3/4 inch female receptacle that will hold an insertable, lightweight (less than one pound) red/green nav light I bought from Innovative Lighting. The light is held in place in the mount by a d-ring that is inserted into the base, through the light (male end) and secured with a lanyard. Can anyone help me with an adhesive that will hold the mount and stick to the hypalon? Wondering if I should have just gone with the suction cup base, and taken on and off during every use. Thank you in advance. Mark

id like to paint a logo on my inflateable kayak what can i use to do this

  12. Mark, we have a good 2 part adhesive which will do a great job of gluing for you, the bad news is it only comes in a 8 oz. can so you will have the start of a good expanded repair kit as it will not use much of the can. The glue runs $29.95.

  13. Have you thought of using a small ice chest? We have seats and brackets but I think the cost would exceed the value of your boat.

How long is the expected life of a 1995 12 ft PVC zodiac red in color with white end tubes and if she is in good shape, how much do you value this old boat for?

  15. You need to use 2-part hypalon glue. We have it for sale through our website or in our store.
You can locate the 2-part hypalon glue kit here -> 2-Part Hypalon Glue Kit
You can see instructions to apply the glue here -> Inflatable Boat Glue Instuctions

    Thank you for your post!

  16. The expected life is dependent on the current condition of the boat. If the Zodiac Inflatable boat is new, and the owner takes proper care of it: regularly cleans it, uses UV protestant, uses and stores it properly, you can expect to get 20 years out of it.

If your boat is in good shape, you can expect to get many years of use out of it still. As far as its current value, I need to know the model and serie number of the boat to identify it. This information can be found on the id plate which is located on the inside of the transom. See this link to identify your boat ->Locate Zodiac Inflatable boat model and serie information.

  17. You can use a paint called TUFF Coat……give us a call 503-235-2628 and we can tell you all about it.
