Mike is a U.S. Navy Veteran with extensive background in unconventional warfare, drug interdiction, submarine repair, deep-sea diving, rescue, and salvage. When he wasn't on mission he was sailing out of Hawaii in search for waves yet to be discovered. Mike's interest in Zodiacs was developed from Cousteau and as a small boat engineer on the job. He always managed to find surf and something to ride it with no matter where he was even on rivers! He says that he only joined the military to surf, and only got into sailing to surf the unknown. Suffice it to say his interests lay in surfing and with a Zodiac he can do it anywhere the waves break. Mike also enjoys puppies.
